We started yesterday with an information coming from Saxplayer of the Yahoo! board, that was a bit problematic.
After putting the news on hold we had no other solution than to inquire in depth and the result of our findings are more than exciting!

We now have an unofficial confirmation
°°° of the chip PR rating at launch time, but best of all, we can also announce that, contrarily to what was expected, Athlon should be released in June 03 instead of September 03 as previously announced by AMD here.

The information about Athlon 64 rating has its origine from Canadian Québec distributor MRS MAINTENANCE, and mention that the chip will be available in 4 flavors like it has been confirmed by insider source that asked not to be named
°°°:

3200+ - 3400+  3600+ for June 03
3800+ for September 03

This new price list mentions the speed of all versions and the 3600+ runs at 2GHz which show a better rating for 32Bit operation than actual
Barton XP 3200+ with a 400MHz FSB running at roughly the same speed.

As we can observe, no mention about price is given and our source confirms that price scheme hasn't been yet decided.

The full price list can be seen
here (pdf)°°°

°°° Warning! As usual, we can't guarantee that all our sources are 100% reliable and of course all this is unofficial. This is why we strongly recommend you to be very cautious about pre-ordering stuff that has not been officially announced by the manufacturer itself.

We will not accept any responsability whatsoever in any problem linked to pre-ordering and/or ordering items that were announced in AMDboard.com.
