XP 2600+ Production already started at Dresden Factory From the German board Wallstreet-online, some information coming from an alleged insider seems to indicate that XP2600+ isn't too far away. The same post also states some Dresden's production details worth reading: 1. Wafer starts at 5,000/week at the moment. It takes 55 days from a wafer start until the chip is available for selling. 2. Maximum capacity 5,800 wpw not 6,000. 3. 2400+ and 2600+ are being produced for two weeks now, should be available at the beginning of September. 4. 0.13 process runs without a problem. 5. 0.13 is expected to scale up to 3200+. 6. Hammers aren't manufactured yet, so a earlier release is unlikely. 7. Hammer core is expected to be twice as big as Thorougbred (???). 8. Biggest problem right now are sales (demand).
