Quad CPU Opteron motherboard ready!
According to some mails we received Electronics Weekly Magazine just published this amazing picture of a 4 ways Opteron motherboard with AMD 8000 chipset (next to the PCI bus) and 4+1 DIMM slots for each processor. This design looks incredibly simple and the size of the fan gives a good indication of the reasonable amount of heat produced by Opteron.






















Update: According to our sources, this board named Sobek,
after the Egyptian god of fertility, is designed by Newisys.
