- DFI AD77 KT400 motherboard review
Canadian PCStats is testing the 100$ KT400 motherboard loaded with feature (5.1 audio, Serial ATA, IEEE 1394, USB 2.0, 10/100 LAN and 8x AGP) and gives and enthusiastic rating:

- Lehman Brothers: AMD revenue up 36%!
Lehman Brothers weighed in AMD and expect the company to announce a 36 percent sequential increase in revenue for a total $698 million and an EPS loss of 50 cents per share for Q4 02: "We believe processor ASPs rebounded over 25 percent quarter-over-quarter while units shipped increased almost 20 percent to over six million units". - ESTASI the new cool cooler
We all know Italian were ice cream specialist but did we know they were also smart CPU radiator designer? No, of course, until PSY sent us the most unbelievable piece of technological history. A bunch of OC incredibile artisti have designed and built up a new kind of fan based on Peltier cooling technology and then, managed to run an Athlon XP 2700+ (2.167MHz) at almost 3GHz with a chip temperature of -16.7°C!!!. - Chaintech 7NJS nForce2 mainboard review
HardOCP's reviews are always a great read. Lots of useful pictures, smart tips about BIOS features and no non-sense benchmarks make the whole worth reading. Today the happy winner of HardOCP's attention is the pricey (168$ at ebay here) Chaintech nForce2 7NJS motherboard which provides good features and performances: "Given the 7NJS's performance in benchmarks and overclocking, I find it hard to imagine anyone being disappointed with the 7NJS". - More Awards for AMD
For the second year in a row, price leadership helped chip maker Advanced Micro Devices beat rival Intel in CRN's Channel Champions survey. AMD earned an overall satisfaction rating of 84, almost 8 points higher than Intel's 76.2, and the victor shone brightest in the areas of price, profitability and return on investment. In price, AMD stomped Intel by a resounding 28.3 points. Read the rest

- IBM, Dell, HP could go for Newisys design
Newisys, the creator of Khepri, server design for Opteron has already dispatched 50 test versions of it to various companies among which are the three top-tier U.S. server makers, reports ZDNet: "The first product from Newisys will be a two-processor Opteron server. The company also is expected to introduce a four-processor server capable of connecting with other four-way servers to create machines with eight, 16 or more processors".
