Today, Psy found at addaboy, the 'Ultimate Battle' where the beauties are meeting again and the conclusion isn't really going to please KT400 lovers: "The Nforce chipset has given the A7N8X faster boot times, faster installation times, faster when opening programs, faster at almost every aspect. Beside the A7V8X having the extra Raid controller the Nforce board stomps the VIA board a new mud hole!". More A7N8X here and A7V8X here ======================================= 01/18/03 - FIC AU11 nForce2 motherboard review We didn't ear much about FIC during the past month and the company is coming back with a pretty good motherboard with sober look but great performance. PC stats here is first to test the greeny baby and here is a snip of the conclusion: "I knew that the FIC AU11 would be a good performer, but I didn't know it would be that good! As you can clearly see by the benchmarks we've shown you, the FIC AU11 is not just an extremely fast motherboard, it's also a good overclocker as well!". ======================================= 01/18/03 - MSI K7N2 nForce2 motherboard review K7N2 (MS-6570) uses the Nforce 2 SPP (System Platform Processor) North bridge, and the MCP2 South Bridge with no integrated graphics core. The MCP used lacks some of the advanced audio features such as on the fly Dolby Digital encoding that Nvidia has been pimping for their MCP-T. (The MCP-T also adds IEEE-1394a/FireWire support). Neoseeker has more about this board in a very instructive review you may find here.
