AMD also announced today that it will introduce the AMD Athlon XP processor 3000+ on February 10 and the AMD Athlon XP processor 3200+ in mid-2003. These processors, based on the core code-named Barton, feature additional integrated cache memory for industry-leading performance. On the dark side, OCNZ had some stability issue and couldn't overclock the board as much as wanted: "It is not too strong in the overclocking department, but hey, people do not buy a system/OEM board to overclock.
