"A report in the Austin Business Journal quotes CEO Hector Ruiz predicting a dearth of flash memory chips by the end of the year. And the same paper reports that its Austin fabrication (fab) is at full capacity pumping out high end flash memory semiconductors".

- Opteron 244 arrived in Japan
The 1.8GHz version of the Opteron, rated 244, has arrived in Tokyo's store, exactly one month after the 240 (1.4GHz) and 242 (1.6GHz) were launched, Akiba2Go! reports today. Reports and photos are here while all the Opteron motherboards available are viewable here and here too

- DFI officialy launches LANParty motherboards
The
lovely fluo boards coming from DFI are now officialy launched. The AMD specific designs include KT400A model named LANParty 400A and nForce2 one also known as LANParty NFII.
