- More support from Microsoft for AMD Alchemy
AMD today announced Microsoft has released a Board Support Package (BSP) for the AMD
Alchemy DBAu1500 development board. The BSP allows developers to speed deployment of next-generation devices that take advantage of the combination of the Microsoft Windows CE operating system and the high-performance, low-power AMD Alchemy Au1500 processor. Used by OEMs, the BSP will aid in quick development and decreased time-to-market for devices such as thin clients, handheld devices and wireless access points. With Microsoft's release of the BSP for the DBAu1500, the entire AMD Alchemy Solutions processor family is now certified on Windows CE 4.2.

07/04/03 - Introduction to air cooling
NordicHardware offers us the unique opportunity to learn the basic about
air cooling... "Air cooling has very many practical cons, you only need to mount a heatsink and you're done. In some cases you also need to mount a fan, but that is also very simple to do. It is also the cheapest cooling variant, and the one with the widest range. When it comes to price and the practical part it is without doubt the winner". Read the whole article here
