In its second quarter, the Sunnyvale, California-based company reported a profit of $32 million, or 9 cents a share, compared to a year-earlier loss of $140 million, or 40 cents a share. Info World today confirms here that Windows 64-Bit beta version for AMD64 CPUs doesn't support Intel Nocona: "The publicly available beta version of Windows XP 64-Bit Edition for 64-Bit Extended Systems can only be installed on systems with AMD Opteron and Athlon 64, according to a Microsoft spokesman.
