- Intel to demo 5GHz chip at IDF
Wow! The hype factory is running full blast. In part 1 of a 645 parts interview, Intel representative is showing the best of Intel's FUD: Hype first, with a possible 5Ghz demo at IDF and 20GHz within a week or two (it has been 10GHz for a while) then dirty talk with some "fair" comments on AMD:
"so there is a period of vulnerability and AMD swept in and by using a few deceptive naming of processor (such as 2200+) but with a good product nonetheless. However we kept going with a good product and with 3 Ghz coming out at the end of this year we will have almost 1 Ghz lead over AMD". Now it's getting real funny when the
clowns are talking of selling tonnes of Itanium. Can't wait to read part 2 and next... You too! have fun
