Motherboards.org have been silent for quite a long time and comes back with a new design and a fight of a new kind. Champ 2600+ is now facing 2.53GHz P4 and the match does not ends up with a clear winner: "As seen in the results the scores are almost identical across the board with both chips taking a small lead in different tests but essentially being very evenly matched overall"

- Gigabyte 7VAXP KT400 chipset review
Thanks to AMD World for providing us our daily 7VAXP review. The conclusion isn't too enthusiastic and suggest to wait for further improvement: "it is DDR400 you need consider waiting until the confusion settles and perhaps allow time for the chipset manufacturer to mature the KT400 which would probably appear in a KT400A as proven in the past"
