Xbitlabs is reporting rumors coming from German site Hardtecs4U (here) about Hammer chipset AMD-8111 which couldn't deal properly with USB 2.0 thus forcing motherboard makers to use an additional chip from Via. The presentation made by Fred Weber at MPF 2002 used an Opteron at 2GHz with PC2700 memory and shows SPEC CPU 2000INT score of 1202, and a SPEC CPU 2000FP score of 1170.
