- Dell not yet in love for AMD
eWeek is adding a new chapter to the AMD-DELL love story with some Mike Dell's revelations about his perception of AMD's chances in corporate territory:
"This is a raging debate. But I don't see the products competing as much as they might at first appear.
Itanium is much better positioned for servers with large databases. AMD's product may be a great product, but to date, customers have not broadly embraced AMD in a server environment. Even in the business desktop, you don't see a lot of AMD. That could change"

- Barrons Says Stock Could Quadruple
AMD stock price is on fire after good news keep coming in and Barrons article propels it even higher:
"Intel Corp.'s biggest competitor in computer processors is being propelled by the promise of its "Opteron'' chip, which digests information in larger 64-bit chunks, instead of the 32-bit pieces in desktop microprocessors. The chip threatens Intel's Itanium product for server computers, whose sales so far have proved a "huge disappointment'' Barrons said". Read here
