Due to massive inventory, harder competition and patent dispute over P4, Via suffered a 92% decline in pre-tax profit for Q3 and the company expect the spinoffs VIA Telecom, VIA Optical Solution (VOS) and VIA Network Solution (VNS) to help reaching the full year target of NT$2 estimated by market analysts.
