As usual, Athlon is doing very well in winning most of the benchmarks as you may note here. ======================================= 11/15/02 - AMD cuts prices: 50% on slower Athlons ExtremeTech is reporting about the massive price cut AMD is doing chips price. If it does not change for 2400+ and faster, it goes down hard for slower XP (up to 50%!). This change will help selling Athlon for Christmas and prepare the chip for competing with Celeron.
